What is the YWC104430 one-touch rear fog lamp ECU?

The YWC104430 is the control module for the one-touch rear fog lamp function on the Land Rover Defender (1987-2006 and 2007-2016 Puma). It takes a momentary press from the fog lamp switch and latches the rear fog output on, then drops it when the lights are switched off.

What does the one-touch fog lamp module do?

The module means the rear fog lamp isn't left selected the next time you use the lights on the Defender. It latches the output on from a momentary switch input and cancels it when the lighting circuit is switched off, so the fog lamp resets each time rather than staying armed.
