Exhaust Rocker Valve for Land Rover diesel engines.

This valve is located in the cylinder head and controls the exhaust port opening and closing cycle, allowing combustion gases to exit the cylinder at the correct point in the firing sequence. It operates via the rocker arm and camshaft assembly. Suitable for 2.25L diesel, 2.5L naturally aspirated diesel, and 2.5L turbo diesel engines. On the Series III, applies to the 2.25L diesel with the 5-main bearing engine (prefix 366), from suffix C onwards.

Why do exhaust valves fail?
