Swivel Kit - repair kit for one front swivel housing assembly. The swivel housing is the steering pivot at the outer end of the front axle case: it carries the stub axle and hub, and the axle shaft passes through it to the drive flange.
This is the early configuration, with the steering arm mounted on top of the swivel housing. The lower pivot runs on a Railko bush and thrust washer, while the upper swivel pin runs in a taper bearing set by shims. The swivel housing itself is not supplied, so the existing housing must still be serviceable.
This kit contains the swivel pin, Railko bush, thrust washer, swivel pin bearing, shims, oil seal and retainer, joint washers and gaskets. One kit covers one side of the vehicle.
