Valve Guide for the cylinder head valve train of the Rover V8 petrol engine.

The guide is an interference fit in the cylinder head and locates the valve stem, keeping the valve concentric with its seat through every opening cycle and conducting heat away from the stem into the head. The valve stem seal fits over the upper end of the guide.

Supplied as a single guide. Replacement is carried out with the cylinder head removed, and the guide is reamed to the correct stem clearance after fitting.
