Rear suspension arm bush, fitted at the front mounting position of the rear suspension arm.

The bush forms the pivot between the suspension arm and its mounting point on the body, locating the arm while allowing controlled articulation as the suspension moves. The rubber element also isolates road noise and vibration from the body structure.

A worn bush allows unwanted movement in the arm, which shows up as imprecise rear-end behaviour and uneven rear tyre wear.
