Rear Suspension Arm Bush - rear-position bush for the rear suspension arm assembly.

The bush is pressed into the suspension arm at its rear mounting point, where the arm locates against the rear knuckle. It forms the compliant pivot between the arm and its mounting, absorbing road inputs while controlling the arm's movement under load.

Worn or perished bushes allow additional movement in the rear suspension, which can affect wheel alignment, tyre wear and handling.

Frequently asked questions

What is the LR001185 rear suspension arm bush?
The LR001185 is the bush fitted to the rear position of the rear suspension arm on the Freelander 2. It isolates the arm from the chassis and helps locate the rear knuckle and suspension arm.
How many of these bushes do I need?
This bush fits the rear position of the rear suspension arm, typically one per side, so two are usually needed for both sides. Replacing them in pairs keeps rear handling balanced.
What are the symptoms of a worn rear arm bush?
A worn rear arm bush causes knocking from the rear, a loose or wandering rear end and uneven tyre wear on the Freelander 2. Cracked or collapsed rubber in the bush means it needs replacing.
What's the difference between LR001185 and LR001182?
LR001185 fits the rear of the rear suspension arm, while LR001182 fits the front of the same arm. They're position-specific and not interchangeable, so confirm which end you're replacing.
Which model does the LR001185 bush fit?
It fits the Freelander 2 2006-2014 with all engines. Confirm the bush position on the rear arm before ordering, as the front position uses a different bush.
