Timing Pin (Long) is a workshop special tool used to set the engine timing on the Td5 2.5-litre five-cylinder turbo diesel.

The pin locks the crankshaft at its timing reference position so the engine is held accurately while timing-related work is carried out, ensuring components are refitted in their correct relationship to crankshaft position. This is the long pin variant.
