Rocker Cover Gasket for the Rover V8 petrol engine, sealing the rocker (valve) cover to the cylinder head.

The gasket seats between the cover flange and the head to contain engine oil around the valve gear and prevent leaks. Rubber construction is reusable and more resistant to compression set than a cork gasket.

A V8 has one rocker cover per cylinder bank, each requiring its own gasket.
