Wiper Drive Cable for the windscreen wiper system on cable (rack) type wiper drives.

The flexible toothed cable runs inside the wiper rack tubing from the wiper motor gearbox to the wheelboxes, carrying the drive along the screen to oscillate the wiper spindles. It is used where the wipers are operated by a cable-and-rack drive rather than a mechanical linkage.
