Alternator Brush Set replaces the carbon brushes in an ACR-type alternator, within the charging system.
The brushes bear on the rotor slip rings and carry the field current into the rotor winding. They wear down in service, and worn brushes lead to a weak or intermittent charge. Fitting a new brush set restores reliable contact and charging output.
