Reverse Lamp Lens is the clear lens that fits to the rear reverse (reversing) lamp assembly.

It seals over the bulb and reflector and diffuses the output as the white light required for a reversing lamp. Supplied as a replacement for a lens that has cracked, fogged or discoloured, it restores correct light output and a weatherproof seal to the lamp body.

Frequently asked questions

What is the RTC4184 reverse lamp lens?
The RTC4184 is the clear lens for the rear reversing lamp assembly. It seals over the bulb and reflector and diffuses the output as the white light a reversing lamp needs. It fits the Series II/III and Defender from 1983 to 2006.
Is the RTC4184 just the lens or the full lamp?
The RTC4184 is the lens only, not the complete lamp. It replaces a lens that has cracked, fogged or discoloured, restoring the correct clear white output and a weatherproof seal to your existing reverse lamp body.
Why replace a fogged reverse lamp lens?
A cracked or discoloured reverse lens cuts the white light output and lets moisture into the lamp, which can corrode the reflector and bulb holder. Replacing it restores clear rearward light when reversing and reseals the lamp against water.
