Shock Absorber for the front suspension - an oil-filled, heavy-duty hydraulic damper.

Mounted between the axle and the chassis, it damps the oscillation of the road spring and controls wheel movement over uneven surfaces, limiting body roll and helping maintain tyre contact with the road. The hydraulic action is produced by forcing oil through internal valving as the unit extends and compresses. This is the heavy-duty oil-filled specification, suited to harder use and heavier loads.
