Power Steering Box - recirculating-ball steering gear of the Adwest Lightweight type, forming the core of the hydraulically assisted steering circuit. Supplied for right-hand-drive (RHD) applications.

The box converts steering-wheel input into lateral movement of the drop arm, drawing pressurised fluid from the power steering pump to reduce steering effort. This is an exchange (remanufactured) unit, supplied on a surcharge basis against return of the original. The drop arm is not included.

No, the drop arm is not included with the STC2846. The box is supplied bare, so you transfer your existing drop arm or fit a new one. The arm presses onto the sector shaft and typically needs a puller to remove it from the old box.
