Description:
Oil Cooler - Heat Exchanger for the Intermediate Reduction Drive (IRD) transfer unit on the Freelander 1.
This oil-to-coolant heat exchanger manages the operating temperature of the IRD by routing IRD fluid through the engine cooling circuit. It mounts directly to the IRD unit and is an important component in preventing overheating of the front drivetrain. Applicable to 4-cylinder engined vehicles (TD4 diesel and 1.8L K-Series petrol).
