Radius Arm Bush Kit - Chassis End, Front (Terrafirma).

A set of four uprated polyurethane bushes for the front radius arm mountings, replacing the original rubber bushes (NRC4514). The radius arms locate the front axle fore and aft; their bushes control axle movement under acceleration, braking and articulation. Polyurethane bushes are firmer than the original rubber, sharpening axle location and reducing deflection under load.

Supplied as a set of four.

Frequently asked questions

What is the TF1003 radius arm bush kit for?
The TF1003 is a set of four uprated polyurethane bushes for the front radius arm chassis-end mountings on the Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic. The radius arms locate the front axle fore and aft, and these bushes control that movement under acceleration, braking and articulation.
How many bushes are in the TF1003 kit?
The TF1003 kit contains four polyurethane bushes, enough for the chassis-end mountings of both front radius arms on the Defender, Discovery 1 or Range Rover Classic. One kit covers the chassis end of the front axle. The axle-end bushes are separate if you're renewing those too.
Why choose polyurethane radius arm bushes over rubber?
Polyurethane radius arm bushes are firmer than the original rubber, so they sharpen front axle location and reduce deflection under load, which helps a Defender, Discovery 1 or Range Rover Classic that tows or works off-road. Worn bushes usually show as clunks, vague steering or axle movement under braking.
