Soft Shackle - Heavy Duty - synthetic rope shackle for the recovery rigging kit, connecting a winch hook, strap or vehicle recovery point in place of a steel bow shackle and pin.
Constructed from 14mm synthetic rope, 1000mm long, rated at 21 tonnes. It is fitted and released by hand without tools and cannot seize after being loaded.
Carrying no rigid metal mass, a soft shackle stores far less energy than a steel bow shackle should a line fail, and will not mark paintwork or alloy recovery points in handling.
