Dislocation Cone - Rear Coil Spring for the rear coil spring seat assembly.

When long-travel shock absorbers or lowered top-mount shock relocators allow the axle to drop further than standard, the rear coil springs can fall away from their seats. These zinc-plated steel dislocation cones guide the coil spring back into correct alignment on the axle seat as the suspension compresses after full droop.

Intended for use where extended suspension travel is fitted, including with heavy-duty shock absorbers and spring retaining plates. Supplied as a pair.

Frequently asked questions

What does the TF510 dislocation cone do?
The TF510 dislocation cones guide the rear coil spring back onto its axle seat as the suspension compresses after full droop. On extended-travel setups the spring can fall away from its seat, and these zinc-plated steel cones re-align it. They fit the Defender 90, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic. Supplied as a pair.
Which vehicles do these dislocation cones fit?
The TF510 cones fit the Land Rover Defender 90 (90 wheelbase), Discovery 1 (1989-1998) and Range Rover Classic (up to 1994), all using the rear coil spring seat. They suit the shorter-wheelbase Defender 90 rather than the 110 or 130. Confirm your model and wheelbase before ordering.
When do I need dislocation cones?
Dislocation cones are typically needed when long-travel or heavy-duty shock absorbers let the axle drop far enough to unseat the rear coil springs. They're usually fitted alongside spring retaining plates so the spring stays located and re-seats cleanly on compression. Standard-height setups don't normally need them.
