ACE Pipe - Valve Block To Actuator - Rear is a low-pressure hydraulic line within the Active Cornering Enhancement (ACE) system.

It runs between the valve block and the rear actuator - the hydraulic ram that applies torque to the rear anti-roll bar to counter body roll during cornering. This is the rear-half pipe; the companion front section is RQB000390.

New collets are advised whenever the pipe is disturbed, together with a check of valve-block operation.

Frequently asked questions

What does the ACE Pipe Valve Block To Actuator Rear do?
The ACE Pipe Valve Block To Actuator Rear is a hydraulic line in the Active Cornering Enhancement (ACE) system on the Land Rover Discovery 2. It runs between the valve block and the rear actuator, the hydraulic ram that applies torque to the rear anti-roll bar to counter body roll during cornering.
Is there a companion pipe for the front section of this ACE run?
Yes, this is the rear ACE actuator pipe; the companion front section is part number RQB000390 on the Discovery 2 ACE system. When renewing ACE pipework it is common to inspect both sections. Fitting new collets whenever the pipe is disturbed is usually advised to keep the joints sealed.
Where does this rear ACE pipe sit on the vehicle?
This rear ACE pipe is routed toward the rear actuator on the Discovery 2, typically running along the chassis to the rear anti-roll bar. The actuator uses fluid delivered through the ACE valve block to resist body roll. It belongs to the Active Cornering Enhancement suspension system.
