Mounted on the gearbox bellhousing, this cylinder receives hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder via the clutch hydraulic line. It converts that pressure into linear movement to actuate the clutch release fork, disengaging the driven plate from the flywheel when the pedal is depressed.
