Clutch Release Fork Kit for the manual transmission clutch release mechanism, built around a cast release fork.

The fork pivots on its mounting inside the bellhousing and transfers movement from the clutch operating linkage to the release bearing, driving the bearing against the diaphragm spring to disengage the clutch when the pedal is pressed. Wear at the pivot and contact points alters release bearing travel and the clutch engagement point.
