Universal Joint is a cross-type (spider) joint fitted within the propshaft assembly, transmitting rotational drive between opposing yokes while accommodating the changing angle between them.
It operates within the driveline, linking the gearbox or transfer box output to the axle input as the suspension articulates and the shaft angle varies under load.
The joint measures 75mm across the yoke (cap to cap) with 27mm bearing caps. It is retained in the yokes by circlips, which are included.
