View full detailsThe Range Rover line covers four distinct sub-brands and twelve named generations stocked at Budget Parts: the full-size Range Rover (Classic, P38, L322, L405, L460), the Range Rover Sport (L320, L494, L461), the Range Rover Evoque (L538, L551), and the Range Rover Velar (L560). Each is a structurally distinct vehicle on a different platform with different engines, electronics, and components. Ordering by model name alone is rarely enough; chassis code and year range are what actually determine fitment.
If you are not certain which generation you own, the 17-digit VIN is the fastest path to confirmation. The VIN appears on the door jamb plate, the windscreen base, and the V5C registration document. The tenth character encodes the model year on all post-1980 vehicles. If you need help decoding your VIN, contact the Budget Parts team directly with the full number and we will confirm the correct generation and chassis code.
The table below covers the full Range Rover family stocked on this site. Use it to identify your chassis code and confirm your production year range before selecting a generation-specific collection from the grid below.

Range Rover Evoque L551 parts →L560 mid-size derivative, 2017 onwards. D7a platform shared with Jaguar F-Pace.
Range Rover Velar parts →Most Range Rover parts are chassis-specific. A part that fits an L322 will not fit an L405 or an L460. A part that fits a Range Rover Sport L494 will not fit a Sport L320 or Sport L461. Two reliable confirmation methods exist.
The first is your 17-digit VIN. Position 10 identifies the model year on all post-1980 Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles, and positions 4 through 8 encode the vehicle descriptor section (engine, transmission, drive type, body style). A Land Rover dealer or authorised VIN decoder can return the full build specification from this string.
The second is your engine code, visible on the engine identification plate. Land Rover engine codes such as 306DT, 276DT, AJ133, M62, M57, and AJ20 each map to specific generations and production phases. The generation table above lists the engine families used on each chassis code.
If you are diagnosing a fault and need to confirm whether your vehicle is affected by a known issue before selecting parts, the Technical Guides section below links to fault-specific articles for the generations most prone to documented service issues.
Parts CategoriesThe collections below cover specific component categories across the Range Rover family. They are useful when you are ordering by component type (for example, an air suspension compressor or a brake disc set) and already know your chassis-specific part number. For chassis-fitment guidance, always cross-reference against your generation-specific collection above.
Air struts, shock absorbers, height sensors, wishbones, bushings, and EAS components across all Range Rover generations.
Suspension parts →Discs, pads, calipers, sensors, brake lines and EPB-compatible components for Range Rover and Range Rover Sport.
Brake parts →Gaskets, seals, timing components, EGR parts, and ancillaries for BMW, Jaguar, Ford, and JLR Ingenium engine families.
Engine parts →Thermostats, coolant pumps, radiators, hoses, and Y-piece replacements for the 5.0 V8 and other Range Rover variants.
Cooling parts →Sensors, relays, switches, ECU components, door modules, and lamp assemblies across all generations.
Electrical parts →Filter kits, oil change packages, and routine service bundles for Range Rover petrol and diesel engines.
Service kits →Every product listing on this site carries a quality grade. The grade describes where the part was made and which channel it travelled through to reach the warehouse. All three grades are stocked across most generation collections.
Genuine Land Rover parts are supplied through the official Jaguar Land Rover distribution network. They carry the Land Rover part number, Land Rover packaging, and full traceability to the JLR supply chain. Choose Genuine for vehicles still under manufacturer warranty, repairs requiring official parts for compliance or insurance reasons, and concours-grade restoration where original packaging matters.
OEM parts are produced by the same component supplier that manufactures the Genuine part, but sold outside the JLR distribution channel. The physical component is frequently identical to the Genuine version, often with a different box and no Land Rover part number on the label. Choose OEM for cost-effective repairs where original specification quality matters without the official-channel markup. Independent workshops working on vehicles outside warranty most often choose this grade.
Aftermarket parts are independently manufactured alternatives. Quality varies by supplier, so each Budget Parts aftermarket listing identifies the manufacturer where known. Choose aftermarket for older vehicles where Genuine parts may no longer be available, non-critical components, or budget-led repairs. The product description notes any relevant fitment or application limitations.
Each generation collection (L322, L405, L460, Sport L320, Sport L494, Evoque, Velar) shows the grade per listing and lets you filter by quality tier from the left-hand panel.
EU Stock and DispatchBudget Parts holds stock for the full Range Rover line at its warehouse in The Hague and dispatches across all EU member states. Norway, Switzerland, and other European non-EU destinations are also served. VAT is handled correctly at checkout for EU customers, and EU VAT-registered businesses can apply for reverse-charge invoicing through the wholesale portal.
Independent Land Rover workshops, multi-vehicle owners, and EU trade buyers can register a wholesale account for trade pricing, account-based credit terms, technical support from the Budget Parts team, and direct VIN-level fitment confirmation before ordering. Registration is available through the wholesale login page.
Technical GuidesThe articles below are published technical guides relevant to Range Rover owners and workshops. They provide diagnostic depth and component context that supports, but does not duplicate, the parts collections linked above.
A fault-led guide covering the most common L322 failure categories including air suspension, fuel system, driveline, and transmission issues across the BMW and Jaguar powertrain eras.
Range Rover L322 common faults guide →Workshop-level diagnosis guide for the fourth-generation Range Rover. Covers diesel, petrol, EAS, ACE, and electrical fault categories across the L405 production run from 2013 to 2022.
Range Rover L405 problems and fixes →Overview of the fifth-generation Range Rover including the MLA-Flex platform, NVH engineering, and key component groups relevant to L460 service and repair.
Range Rover L460 platform guide →A detailed fault reference for the first-generation Range Rover Sport, covering air suspension, timing chain, and drivetrain failure patterns across the L320 production run.
Range Rover Sport L320 problems guide →Fault and parts reference for the second-generation Range Rover Sport, covering D7u platform components, TDV6 and SDV8 diesel issues, and L494-specific service patterns.
Range Rover Sport L494 faults guide →Performance, engine, and platform guide for the Range Rover Velar L560 covering the D7a platform, Ingenium engine variants, and key Velar-specific service points.
Range Rover Velar L560 guide →Budget Parts stocks parts for all main Range Rover generations available in the EU market. These include the Range Rover Classic (1970-1996), the P38 / P38A (1994-2001), the L322 (2002-2012), the L405 (2013-2022), and the current L460 (2022 onwards). The collection also covers all three Range Rover Sport generations (L320 from 2005, L494 from 2013, L461 from 2022), both Range Rover Evoque generations (L538 from 2011, L551 from 2019), and the Range Rover Velar L560 (2017 onwards). Use the generation grid above or the chassis-code link cards to select the collection that matches your vehicle.
The most reliable method is your 17-digit VIN. The VIN appears on the door jamb plate (driver's side), at the base of the windscreen, and on your vehicle registration document. Position 10 of the VIN encodes the model year. Position 4 through 8 encodes the vehicle descriptor section, which includes engine family, transmission, and drive type. If you already know your chassis code (such as L322, L405, L320, or L538), the generation table above confirms your production year range and engine availability. For vehicles registered during transition years between generations, contact the Budget Parts team with your VIN and they will confirm the correct generation, engine code, and applicable parts catalogue.
The four are structurally distinct sub-brands. The full-size Range Rover line (Classic, P38, L322, L405, L460) is the original flagship, with a longer wheelbase, more luxury-focused trim, and the largest engine range. The Range Rover Sport line (L320, L494, L461) is performance-oriented, built on platforms shared with full-size Range Rover (L494 on D7u with L405, L461 on MLA-Flex with L460) but with shorter wheelbase, sportier suspension geometry, and SVR-style performance variants where applicable. The Evoque (L538, L551) is the compact sub-brand on transverse-engine platforms shared with Land Rover Discovery Sport. The Velar (L560) is the mid-size derivative on the D7a platform shared with Jaguar F-Pace. Parts are not interchangeable across sub-brands.
Yes. Budget Parts maintains active stock for the Range Rover Classic (1970-1996) and Range Rover P38 (1994-2001) across all three quality tiers. The Classic and P38 are now classed as classic and youngtimer vehicles respectively in most EU markets, and both have a strong restoration parts catalogue covering Rover V8 engine components, body and chassis parts, electrical items, and trim. BMW M51 diesel parts for the P38 and 200Tdi/300Tdi parts for the late Classic are also stocked. For specific items not visible on the collection, the Budget Parts team can source individual parts on request with your chassis number.
Genuine parts come through the official Jaguar Land Rover distribution channel with the Land Rover part number and JLR packaging. OEM parts are the same component direct from the original manufacturer, supplied outside the JLR channel — the physical part is often identical but the price reflects the absence of the official-channel markup. Aftermarket parts are independently manufactured equivalents from third-party suppliers; quality varies by manufacturer and Budget Parts identifies the supplier where known. Each product listing shows its grade, and quality tier filters are available within every generation collection. For warranty work or vehicles where original specification is required, choose Genuine. For most independent workshop repairs, OEM is the standard choice. For older vehicles or non-critical components, aftermarket is often the most practical option.
Yes. Budget Parts ships to every EU member state and to most non-EU European destinations including Norway, Switzerland, Iceland, and the UK. Orders are picked and dispatched from the warehouse in The Hague, Netherlands. EU customers are invoiced with correct VAT treatment for their delivery country, and EU VAT-registered businesses can apply for reverse-charge invoicing through the wholesale portal. Larger items such as body panels, complete propshafts, and subassemblies may carry different shipping conditions; specific shipping costs and delivery estimates are shown at checkout.
Yes, for the PHEV variants that exist across the line: Range Rover L405 P400e (2019-2022), Range Rover L460 P440e and P510e (2022-2023) and P460e / P550e (2024+), Range Rover Sport L494 P400e (2018-2022), Range Rover Sport L461 P440e and P510e (2022 onwards), and Range Rover Evoque L551 P300e (2020 onwards). High-voltage traction battery packs and main drive units are typically dealer-only items outside the scope of this collection; standard mechanical, suspension, cooling, brake, and body parts for PHEV variants are stocked alongside conventional ICE variants in each generation collection. Filter by your chassis code and check the product description for PHEV-specific fitment notes where applicable.
