Koppelingvrijgavevorkset gebruikt in het koppelingsvrijgavemechanisme van de handgeschakelde transmissie. De vrijgavevork werkt in het koppelingshuis en brengt beweging over van het koppelingsvrijgavemechanisme naar het druklager, waardoor de koppelingsdrukplaat ontkoppelt wanneer het koppelingspedaal wordt bediend. De vork draait op zijn bevestigingspunt en oefent kracht uit op het druklager dat tegen de koppelingsmembraanveer is geplaatst.
