Ontkoppelingsvork werkt in de bellhousing als onderdeel van het ontkoppelingsmechanisme van de handgeschakelde versnellingsbak.

De vork draait op zijn bevestiging in de koppelingsbehuizing en brengt beweging over van het koppelingsbedieningsmechanisme naar het druklager, waarbij het lager tegen de diafragmaveer wordt gedrukt om de koppeling te ontkoppelen wanneer het pedaal wordt ingedrukt.
