The clutch lever clip retains the clutch release lever on its ball pivot post inside the gearbox bellhousing. It holds the release fork onto the pivot so the fork stays correctly engaged with the release bearing and the clutch disengages cleanly. It's fitted to manual transmission Land Rovers.
