Het brengt de pedaalkracht over van de hoofdremcilinder naar de wielremcilinders, remklauwen en koppelingshulpcilinder. De DOT4-specificatie geeft een hoog kookpunt om dampvorming te weerstaan bij langdurig zwaar remmen. Geleverd in een container van 1 liter.

Remvloeistof is hygroscopisch en absorbeert na verloop van tijd vocht, dus het moet worden ververst volgens het aanbevolen onderhoudsinterval.
