Krukasbout is de bevestigingsbout die de poelie- en demperconstructie aan de neus van de krukas van de V8-benzinemotor bevestigt.

Deze bout, die in de voorkant van de krukas is geschroefd, klemt de krukaspoelie op zijn plaats, zodat deze de accessoires aan de voorzijde aandrijft en de timingreferentie positioneert.
