Klepseals - de afdichting die over de klepsteel in de cilinderkop is aangebracht om de olie te regelen die via de steel in de poort terechtkomt.

Dit is de platte, ringvormige afdichting die wordt gebruikt op de inlaatkleppen van de Rover V8. Het beperkt de olie die langs de inlaatklepgeleider wordt gezogen onder spruitstukvacuüm, waardoor het olieverbruik en de rook aan de inlaatzijde worden verminderd. Het sluit onder de klepveer af en werkt samen met de geleider om de steel smering te doseren.
