Synchro Cone (Baulk Ring) - LT95 4-versnellingsbak

Deze synchro cone, ook wel baulk ring genoemd, is een onderdeel van de synchroniseerinrichting in de LT95 4-versnellingsbak. Het functioneert als een frictieconus om de rotatiesnelheden van het tandwiel en de synchrohub gelijk te maken vóór het inschakelen, waardoor soepel en schadevrij schakelen mogelijk wordt.

Versleten of verglazing van synchro cones is de meest voorkomende oorzaak van 'baulking' en moeilijk schakelen in de LT95-eenheid. Ze worden vervangen als onderdeel van een volledige revisie van de LT95-versnellingsbak.
