Deze dicht af rond het aandrijftandwiel van de snelheidsmeter waar het in de versnellingsbakbehuizing komt, waardoor versnellingsbakolie wordt vastgehouden en lekkage wordt voorkomen waar de aandrijfkabel is aangesloten.
