Contactpunten voor de ontstekingverdeler van de 3.5L V8 benzinemotor. De contactpunten openen en sluiten het primaire circuit naar de bobine, waardoor de vonk op tijd aan elke cilinder wordt geleverd.

Dit is de niet-schuivende (vaste) contactset, onderscheiden van het type met schuivende contacten. Deze wordt gemonteerd op de grondplaat van de verdeler en werkt samen met de condensator, die overslag over de punten onderdrukt wanneer deze openen.
