Aftermarket Part
Aftermarket: Quality alternative. This is a quality alternative, designed to fit and function like the original part, often at a more competitive price.

Frequently asked questions

What is the WFI100100 fuel tank cradle and what does it do?
The WFI100100 is the steel support cradle that carries the classic-pattern plastic rear fuel tank beneath the chassis of the Defender 110 and 130 (1999-2006). It cradles the underside of the tank and bolts to the chassis, locating and supporting the tank while absorbing road loads.
Why do fuel tank cradles need replacing on the Defender?
Fuel tank cradles typically need replacing because corrosion weakens the original steel frame. Sitting under the rear of the Defender chassis, the cradle is exposed to road spray and salt, and a rusted cradle can no longer safely support the loaded tank.
Does this cradle fit the steel or plastic Defender fuel tank?
This cradle is shaped for the classic-pattern plastic rear tank fitted to the Defender 110 and 130 (1999-2006). Confirm your tank type before ordering, since the cradle is matched to the plastic tank rather than other tank designs.
