Frequently asked questions

What is the sliding window finger pull for?

The sliding window finger pull attaches to the door-top sliding glass pane, giving you a grip to slide the window open and closed. It fits the Land Rover Defender 90 and 110 (1983-2006) under part number MTC6280.

How many finger pulls are needed per sliding window?

Typically each sliding glass pane takes one finger pull, so a pair of sliding windows usually needs two. Check how many of your Defender's door-top sliding windows need new pulls before ordering the quantity you need.

What's the difference between this and the outer side door finger pull?

This finger pull (MTC6280) is for the door-top sliding glass window, while the outer side door finger pull (MTC6281) fits the station wagon side door sliding glass. They look similar but suit different windows, so match the location on your Defender before ordering.

How do I confirm this fits my Land Rover Defender?

This sliding window finger pull fits the Land Rover Defender 90 and 110 built 1983-2006, under part number MTC6280. Confirm you need the door-top sliding glass pull rather than the side door version, and check your window type before ordering.
