Threaded 7/16 UNF with a 7/8 in shank length, the bolt clamps the flywheel against the crankshaft so that engine torque is carried through to the clutch assembly. Flywheel bolts are a torque-critical fastening and are normally renewed whenever the flywheel is disturbed.
