Drive Flange Joint Washer is the sealing washer installed at the joint between the drive flange and the stub axle, preventing differential oil from weeping past the drive flange at the outer axle end.
Fitted at both front and rear axle positions, this washer should be renewed whenever a drive flange is removed - particularly during wheel bearing or axle oil seal replacement.
