Depression Control Valve mounted on the camshaft cover of the diesel engine.
It regulates the internal depression (vacuum) of the engine, maintaining controlled pressure in the crankcase ventilation circuit. Fitted to the 2.0L Td4 (M47) and 3.0L (M57) diesel engines on the cylinder head cover.
