Door Trim Retaining Clip is a cup-type fastener that secures the interior door casing to the door frame.
The clip locates in the trim panel and pushes into the corresponding hole in the door, holding the casing firmly in place while allowing it to be removed for access to the latch, window and wiring behind. These clips are commonly damaged or lost when a door card is taken off and are replaced to restore a secure, rattle-free fit.
