O-Ring for the oil filter adaptor assembly on 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines up to and including the 300TDi.

This O-ring seals the joint between the oil thermostat and the adaptor body within the oil filter adaptor housing, preventing oil loss at the connection. Inspect the O-ring whenever the oil thermostat or adaptor is disturbed and replace if signs of hardening, cracking, or flattening are present. Clean mating surfaces thoroughly before refitting.
