Description:
Injector Clamp Stud - 200Tdi / 300Tdi is the threaded stud used to secure the injector hold-down clamp in the cylinder head of the 200Tdi and 300Tdi direct-injection diesel engines.

Each fuel injector is retained in its bore by a forked clamp that bears against the injector body; the clamp is drawn down by a nut on this stud, applying the correct clamping load to seal the injector against combustion pressure. Studs can corrode, stretch, or strip under repeated injector removal and should be renewed whenever injectors are removed for service.
