Exhaust Manifold Gasket for the 4.0L and 4.6L EFi V8 petrol engine.

Frequently asked questions

What does the ERR6733 exhaust manifold gasket seal on a V8 Land Rover?
The ERR6733 seals the exhaust manifolds to the cylinder heads on 4.0L and 4.6L EFI V8 engines, preventing exhaust gas leaks at the head joints. It fits the Discovery 1 and 2 (V8 petrol) and Range Rover P38 (1994-2001).
What does 'double' mean for this exhaust manifold gasket?
On the V8, each cylinder bank has its own exhaust manifold and gasket. 'Double' typically indicates this is a paired set covering both banks. The individual single-bank alternatives are ERR5008 and ERR5010. If replacing one side only, you may need just one of those instead.
What are the signs of an exhaust manifold gasket leak on a V8?
A leaking exhaust manifold gasket typically produces a ticking or tapping sound at idle that reduces as the engine warms and the metal expands. You may also notice exhaust smell in the engine bay. On V8 Land Rovers, manifold gasket failure is a known age-related issue.
