Description:
Throttle Linkage is a mechanical component in the fuel injection control assembly of the 2.5L 4-cylinder diesel engine.
It connects the accelerator pedal input to the throttle lever on the fuel injection pump, translating driver demand into a change in fuel delivery rate. Correct geometry, pivot condition, and spring return function are essential for smooth throttle response and accurate control of engine speed. Replacement is required when the linkage shows wear, corrosion, or deformation that introduces slack or binds in the actuation path.
