Inlet Manifold Gasket - Diesel for the 2.25L and 2.5L 4-Cylinder diesel engine.

Fitted between the inlet manifold and the cylinder head, this gasket provides the air-tight seal required for correct airflow into the combustion chambers. A deteriorated or failed gasket at this joint can allow unmetered air to bypass the intake, disrupting combustion efficiency and causing rough running or reduced power. Replacement restores the sealed intake path and correct engine breathing.

Frequently asked questions

What is the ETC7750 manifold gasket and where does it fit on a diesel engine?
ETC7750 is the inlet manifold gasket for 2.25L and 2.5L 4-cylinder diesel engines. It seals the joint between the inlet manifold and cylinder head on Series II, IIA, III and Defender up to 2006, maintaining an airtight intake path for correct engine breathing.
Should ETC7750 be replaced or can it be reused when the manifold is removed?
Replace ETC7750 any time the inlet manifold is removed. Reusing a compressed gasket risks unmetered air entering the intake, causing rough running and reduced power on 2.5L diesel Defenders and Series diesel engines. It's a low-cost item worth renewing as a matter of course.
How do I confirm ETC7750 fits my Defender or Series diesel?
ETC7750 fits Defender up to 2006 with 2.5L 4-cylinder diesel (naturally aspirated and turbocharged), and Series II, IIA, and III with 2.25L diesel engines. Cross-references include RTC3328 and ETC5312.
