Valve Stem Cap is a hardened cap that sits over the tip of the valve stem in the cylinder head valve train.
It forms the wear interface between the rocker and the end of the valve stem, taking the rubbing contact so the valve tip itself is protected. On engines not fitted with caps as standard from the factory, they can be added where the valve stem tips or rocker pads show heavy wear. Sold individually.
