Universal joint used in the propshaft assembly to transmit rotational torque between adjoining propeller shaft sections while allowing angular movement of the shaft during suspension travel.
The joint forms part of the driveline propeller shaft assembly and is installed between the propshaft yokes, enabling articulation of the shaft within the drivetrain.
It operates within the propeller shaft front or rear shaft assembly depending on vehicle configuration, maintaining rotational continuity between the gearbox output, transfer case or axle input flange.
This component forms the central cross assembly with four bearing caps retained in the propshaft yokes, allowing the connected shafts to rotate while accommodating changes in operating angle within the drivetrain.
