Turbocharger for the Puma 2.2L TDCi 4-cylinder diesel engine, part of the forced induction assembly.
The turbocharger uses energy from the exhaust gas stream to drive a turbine wheel, which in turn spins a compressor wheel that pressurises intake air before it enters the engine. This raises air density, enabling more efficient combustion and greater power output from the 2.2L TDCi engine.
When replacing the turbocharger, flush the engine oil system to ensure the new unit receives a clean oil supply from start-up.
