Brand Dunlop, PR2 Pro
Air Spring for the front of the electronic air suspension system. The air spring takes the place of a conventional coil spring, using a flexible rubber bag inflated by the suspension compressor to support the vehicle and set ride height.

The suspension ECU regulates air pressure to hold ride height under varying load and to deliver the selectable ride-height settings. A perished or leaking air spring lets the affected corner sag and causes the compressor to run excessively.

Frequently asked questions

What does the REB101740 Air Spring do?
The REB101740 Air Spring replaces a conventional coil at the front of the Range Rover's electronic air suspension. It's a flexible rubber bag inflated by the suspension compressor to support the vehicle and set ride height, with the suspension ECU regulating the pressure.
Which Range Rover and specification does this fit?
This front air spring fits the Range Rover P38 (1994-2001) and is the Dunlop 'Less Hot Climate' type. Vehicles built to hot-climate specification use a different spring, so check which specification your Range Rover is before ordering.
What are the symptoms of a failed front air spring?
A failed air spring typically perishes, cracks or leaks with age, letting the front corner sag overnight and making the compressor run excessively to hold ride height. A dropping front corner or a compressor that won't stop usually points to a failed spring.
Should I replace both front air springs together?
This is a single front air spring. Fronts are commonly replaced in pairs, since if one has perished the other is usually the same age and close to failing too. Doing both keeps the front ride height even.
