Piston Ring Set in standard size, for the 2.25L and 2.5L naturally aspirated four-cylinder diesel engines running standard-size pistons in an unbored block.
The set covers one piston. The compression rings seal combustion pressure against the cylinder wall, while the oil control ring meters lubricating oil on the bore and returns the surplus to the sump. Worn rings show as raised oil consumption and reduced compression.
Four sets are required to rebuild a complete engine.
