Description:
Electronic Differential Lock (E-Locker) replaces the standard open differential assembly within the axle, providing driver-selectable full differential lock. The system operates via an internal electromagnet: when activated by a cab-mounted switch, the electromagnet engages a locking collar that locks the differential carrier to the crown wheel, delivering equal drive torque to both wheels on the axle. Deactivating the switch allows return springs to disengage the mechanism, restoring standard open differential behaviour.
No compressor, air lines, or complex wiring loom is required - the electrically operated locking mechanism is entirely self-contained within the axle unit.
Note: fitment to earlier axles may require the half shafts to be upgraded to 24-spline items; confirm the axle specification before ordering.
