Rotary Coupler sits at the top of the steering column within the airbag (SRS) system, behind the steering wheel.

Also known as a clock spring, it maintains a continuous electrical connection between the rotating steering wheel and the fixed column wiring. A coiled ribbon conductor carries the driver airbag, horn and steering-wheel switch circuits across the full range of steering lock without the wiring twisting or breaking.

Fitted to airbag-equipped applications.
