Crankshaft Thrust Washer controls crankshaft end-float - the axial movement of the crankshaft within the block - at the centre main bearing.
The washers bear against the machined thrust faces of the crankshaft to hold end-float within tolerance. This is the 0.0025in oversize grade, used to restore correct end-float when the crankshaft or the original washers have worn. Supplied as a pair.
